So as my first actual post I thought I might review one of my favourite products at the moment! This is the MAC face and body foundation.
To be fair when I first purchased this in early January this year I wasn't too keen on it as it didn't cover up much of my blemishes and spots, but after realising that one of the main reasons for that was that I was applying it with my fingers, which gave it a lighter and less heavy look. So I took a trip out to Harrods, as I was in London at the time, and bought myself the Elegant Touch brush set. From then on I have applied it with a flat brush in their set and it has given it the cover up that I was looking for.
To get the total wow factor, add a transparent powder, (I use Rimmel London's Stay Matte) a bright blush (at the moment I'm loving MAC's Dollymix) and you'll look the part!
For me this foundation is just right as it suits my skin tone perfectly and its not too heavy or cakey for school. But the only issue I could say about it is it doesn't last as long as I would have liked, but if you get yourself a primer which I have only just recently purchased (I got Benefit's The Pore fessional) it should hold it nicely for a longer period of time!
