Fashion, rule #123

The other day I was lying in bed, bored out of my brain so I wondered over to my bookshelf and had a look at some of the books I had, and having a skim through them all I pulled out this beauty:

Victoria Beckham:- that extra half an inch, hair heels and everything in between

Now don't' get me wrong this is a old book and I've had it for years but yet each time I read it still engages me and inspires me even more!

Its all about fashion and Victoria Beckham's way off life, now I am not going to be describing to you what the book is about but what I am going to be on about is what I have taken from it.

'Whether you have £20 to spend in Topshop or £2,000 to spend at Gucci, looking good isn't about the money, its about style and style never goes out of fashion' - Victoria Beckham

I am not some expert in fashion and I have no qualifications on what's hot and what's not but I have a passion for fashion (oh look it rhymes) and I've been lucky enough that I can experiment with different types and styles of clothing.

I have many different fashion tastes whether that be boho and Indie or girly and sweet, in my opinion its great! If you can swap your style then go for it! So these are just my 3 fashion rules that I think help me with fashion!

Rule #1 - Don't feel like you are pined down to one fashion taste, go out and explore different styles and tastes, you might surprise yourself.

Be extra unordinary, something that you see in a shop you might think is a bit too dangerous for you, pick it up and buy it, what else is there to lose?

Rule #2 - Go for something that is out of your comfort zone, make heads turn but for all the right reasons.

Then finally, you will probably hear this phrases in some cheesy school club or some kids party but I am just going to come right out an say it...

Rule #3 - Have fun (and be yourself)

Fashion is a way in which you can show you individuality and personality and you need to show that off. Fashion may stress you out at times, deciding what to wear for your upcoming party or if you don't have enough money to buy that gorgeous skirt. But at the end of the day if you have a spark for fashion then have fun with it!

September favourites.

Here we go again another monthly favourites, time is literally passing by too quickly!! But never mind because it means that it nearer to Christmaaas, yes I have a uncontrollable amount of excitement for Christmas like I do every year, (come on I mustn't be the only one!) Stopping with my rambling on I have some really great items this month that hopefully you will love just as much as me!

For starters I am going to start with beauty favourites, so I picked this up the other week after living on crumb size amount for a while. Now all you beauty bloggers will know that this is probably one of the best powders around, the Rimmel London stay matte, long lasting pressed powder has been my beauty must have this month! I get the shade transparent just because I have pale skin so I don't want to over do my face with colour. This powder keeps natural shine under control which is great, so if you've just done P.E class and your just a little sweaty then you can dab some on and your good to go!

My next beauty favourite is the benefit high beam, I never used to wear highlighter until I discovered this. You apply it like you would nail varnish, so you stroke it on your cheek bones and then with your fingers rub it in creating a glowing look, it really brightens up your face. I got this in a benefit set but I am pretty sure you can buy this product individually, hopefully so because I will be making a re purchase once it has all ran out.

Going on to skin care, at the moment my skin is awful and has broke out with a load of spots, so my friend actually recommended this product to me so I went out and picked it up. The simple spotless skin, rapid action spot zapper actually did my face justice, now I didn't expect much from this as I do not with many spot cleansers but within a couple of days I saw rapid reduction of my spots. But the thing I love the most about this is that it isn't a cream that you apply with your fingers, there is a roll on ball. I recommend this product especially for people with sensitive skin as it is very gentle and smooth.

So I only have one clothes favourite  this month and they are these jeans, when I was browsing round new look I came across these high waisted denim jeans. I have wanted a pair of dark jeans for the autumn time as it fits in more with the season, so when I found these they were the perfect colour and at a reasonable price, and then when I found out they were high waisted I fell in love even more. High waisted jeans I think are easy to pair with all kinds of tops and just make a pair of jeans a little more fancy.

Then finally is the Victoria Secret body spray, now I have mentioned this spray before in one of my older posts but I literally love it so much! I got this at the very beginning on September and it hasn't been off my skin for the whole month, everyday before I go school I spray this on and I smell divine. But if you do buy this body spray make sure you hide it, my mums a pest at always borrowing it and not giving it back!

So there we have it another monthly favourites, I hope you have enjoyed reading, feel free to comment below your September favourite links as I would love to check them out!
Thanks for reading,
